Lymond House, a 155+ year old mansion was constructed in 1856 and is known as one of the oldest buildings in Ooty. This Mansion was originally a three-roomed house that was restored and transformed into a Heritage Home. Tourists are offered the chance to relive the golden era of a colonial charm in a modern age world through this Heritage Home.
Lymond House features 2 large Victorian drawing rooms with open log fires that are ideal for warming up during cold winter evenings. It houses 6 Ensuite Luxury Double Rooms that are dressed with antique four-poster beds and each featuring a dresser and an open fireplace. These rooms are perfect places to soak in the warm atmosphere that has been carefully preserved for over 155 years.

Lymond House is situated just 2 kms from the Ooty Railway Station and from the Ooty Bus Stand. It is 100 kms by road from the Coimbatore Airport.
Lymond House features 3 Ensuite Double Rooms, 2 Victorian Drawing Rooms with fireplaces and 3 Garden Suites. All Rooms are equipped with fire places, antique beds and furniture, dressing table and modern baths with all modern amenities. The Garden Suites are appropriately named as Flora, Grace and Isis while the Luxury Doubles are Tipperary, Walpole and Westbury respectively.
